Place for quick Business meeting

I used to meet potential business partners for a casual quick discussion at Orchard road borders books store cafe. Now it is closed.

Does anyone of you suggest a nice little cosy spot outside your house/office where you can have a good discussion with your potential business partners.

Preferably serve beverages (non-alcoholic ; I don't want my partners to be drunk when we drop ideas)

Does it have to be Orchard?

I meet mine at Changi airport. My clients/partners are often very busy but they often transit in Changi airport enroute to other destinations. The option of cafes, discussion corners and lounges are endless - and comfy too.

There are hundreds of coffee shops in and around Orchard, starting at Centrepoint and continuing up to Scotts Road.

Orchard road it is not quite. If I have to take out my laptop and show and talk, it is inconvenient.

I understand what you meant when you referred to the cafe at Borders.
Honestly you can find quite many along Orchard Road that has the atmosphere/layout you're talking about.

I can even name few like Coffee Bean at The Forum, large cafes on top of Orchard Central, very spacious and quiet cafe at TripleOne at Somerset Road, etc...
