Thai registered car in Singapore

Post by crossy » Mon, 07 May 2012 9:40 am

Anyone know the procedure (or if it is even possible) for me to bring my Thai registered pickup into Singapore?

I'm looking at a fairly long (3-6 month) job in Singapore and (whilst the city has a superb public transport system) would like to have the freedom of my own vehicle.

I understand the procedure for getting into and driving through Malaysia, but how about Singapore? Accommodation will be hotel / Serviced Apartment so parking should not be an issue.

Thoughts anyone? Or just leave the car at home?

Leave it at home. Must not be older than 3 years. Must be right hand drive for starters. Then you will pay 140 percent registration tax, COE, etc.
