Curious if anyone has any insight regarding bringing turntables (Technics 1200to Singapore and using them with a converter. I've read on another thread here that the difference between 50hz (SG) and 60hz (US) might cause them to run at a different speed, making them completely useless.
My set up includes a receiver, powered subwoofer (700 watts), and mixer too. That's 5 pieces of equipment that needs to be plugged in and of course every single item would need a converter.
I'm leaning towards buying converters for it all as it would be a fraction of the cost of replacement.
Does anyone have any experience with these items?
Thanks!
