big supermarket branches in city or East coast?
big supermarket branches in city or East coast?
Which branches/location of supermarkets stores offers lots of choice? I am only interested in the huge ones in the city area of on east coast. Thank you in advance.
Google for "Cold Storage" and look up their locations.
The best location for East Coast:
Fairprice Finest (not the regular Fairprice) will meet you requirements. There is a location right next to Parkway Parade mall, which also has a Cold Storage in the basement. And a Giant (like a Walmart, but does have groceries) is on the third floor.

Fairprice finest as mentioned is quite good. Cold Storage at Parkway is about the biggest CS around there.
There's a Giant over by Ikea in Tampines which is good for those who have a car as you can park right outside - just like most big supermarkets where I'm from - it's the only one I know of where you can do this.
But TBH, there are no huge supermarkets here - the Giant I mentioned is about as big as it gets but I find that I can never get all of my shopping somewhere like Giant - there are things that they don't sell that only Cold Storage sell.
There's also Carrefour at Suntec City which is big but I think it's looking a bit run-down compared to when we first moved here
