Apart from the entry fee to Sentosa (a modest 3 S$ if you catch the monorail from VivoCity), it is free to use the beaches on Sentosa. You can, however, if you want to pay a small fortune to hang out at a place like Tanjong Beach Club for example. Transport between the different beach areas on Sentosa is free. There is a "tram" that takes you there. There are also free busses.

I just came back from there and have to admit its a really daft system, had to help a couple of totally confused tourist, why do you have to change trams at the beach interchange? ( I guess its to try and get a flow of customers through the retail outlets) a poor hot and bother family with prams etc were totally confused where to go and why they had to get off the tram to join another huge Q. Why cant the tram trundle all the way from Silso beach to Tanjun Rhu beach?
