Youtube.com. Alternatively you might want to rent DVDs instead. Singapore has a multi ethnicity population, hence the need for subtitles.

If an English movie is not popular, R18, it will probably not have subtitles. I saw Kickass without subtitles here. Otherwise, you'll just have to ignore the subtitles.

I would buy the multi-cultural argument but note that the subtitles are only Chinese. It's worse in Malaysia where they also put Bahasa Melayu subtitles and can take up 40% of the screen height!

You get used to the subtitles - I don't notice them any more unless they put them in a stupid place, like over English subtitles if an actor speaks in another language ...............that happens on cable.

I don't think I've ever seen a film at the cinema without subtitles but then again, I may not have noticed because I'm so used to them!

But yes, DVD is the way to go - or something like apple TV if you have it (not that I'm too impressed with Apple TV TBH but that's another discussion :) )

Actually sounds like he wants to pirate a copy of the film for his home library by sneaking his camcorder into the movie theater.

So much easier (or so I've heard  ) to just download from a site where someone else has done the "dirty"
