Need rec. for condo near Outram Park

Post by ebbtide » Sun, 29 Apr 2012 1:41 am

Hi all,

I'm moving to singapore in the next month as my company is opening a branch office. I'll be working out of the apartment for a bit, then shopping for office space.

My girlfriend just landed a job near Jurong East and starts May 14. I had originally looked along the east cost so I'd be between CBD and the airport, but her access to Jurong will be more important.

Do you guys have any recommended rental condos along the EW line between outram park and jurong east? I've got a budget between 3-6k. Let me know some good areas too look at, I haven't spent any time west of the CBD.

Thank you!

I would look around Thiong Bahru area. There are some nice condos close to the TB station.

Why not rent an HDB in the Cantonment area, ex: pinnacle@duxton, or cantonment towers. The locations doesn't get any better than that

You can try looking around redhill or Queenstown as there are some condos within walking distances of the mrt and it would fit your budget. A good friend of mine rented a unit at 'THE Anchorage' nearby queenstown for a monthly rental of 6k including agent fees
