Restaurants with kids play area in the East

Post by wannamove » Sat, 21 Apr 2012 3:05 pm

I know there are few places in Orchard area but was wondering if there are any restaurants in the East Coast that have a kiddie play area. Here are the ones I have been to

- Kashmir in Katong (not a play area per say but it has 2 rocking horses and it kept my 2.5 year old happy)

- The Royals Cafe in Siglap (has a collection of kid books and a lego table) Found this to be a great breakfast spot on weekends.

Brussel Sprout at East Coast Park, it has a massive play area outside, you can watch them from the restaurant.

Also, at the East Coast Seafood Centre, behind Jumbo there's an Italian restaurant/pizza place that has an indoor play centre, the soft climbing ones with slides and ball pit. There's also someone in there who also watches over the kids.

Also, Zaffron Kitchen on East Coast Road, opposite 112 Katong also has a children's play area.

The Italian place at the seafood centre (Pizzitalia I think it's called) seems quite popular with families with small children. The service sucks though....or perhaps I went on a bad night - there seemed to be more waiters than customers early on though and it still wasn't great.

I noticed a nice looking water play area on the top floor of 112 Katong the other day - it's next to the food court so if it was fairly quiet up there, you could probably sit inside and eat while your children had a splashing good time.

And it's not on the East but in Sentosa the other day I saw that they've got a new water play area on Palawan beach - it looked pretty good, but it's not free and I'm not sure if there is anywhere to eat right there, but worth remembering next time you're heading over that way.

Thanks everyone! Please keep them coming - I love to try new places and having a play area means I can enjoy the meal :) :D
