Boxing?

Post by fubaro » Thu, 19 Apr 2012 10:10 am

Hi anyone out there does boxing? I'm looking to pick up the proper mechanics/technicals. I'm not too keen on classes where you spend a lot of time getting that "workout" hitting stuff and fitness. I really want to learn head movement, footwork, counter punching, open guard etc. Anyone can help me?

Evolve MMA has boxing classes, along with Muay Thai, BJJ and wrestling. A number of their instructors are WBC champions

Evolve is good, but expensive (close to 400 pm), and they only have one package (unlimited) for all students.
I train at the poor cousin gym, Impact, much cheaper, and they have diff package to cater for diff frequency.

I don't really even know the basics of boxing so it's kind of hard to practice with people yet...
