Residences at 338a river valley rd--is it any good?

Post by snailplace » Wed, 18 Apr 2012 10:05 am

Moving to Singapore with hubby and two small kids for 4 months, so options are a bit limited in that we have to go with short term rental.

Someone is renting a 2+study apt at residences at 338a for 5500/mth not including utilities. Is this a good deal?

Thank you in advance for any comments! We arrive next Thursday so getting a bit desperate!

What kind of pass or visa are you on?

You're not legally allowed to rent without one. On four months, your options might be limited to just Service Apartments.

It's listed as having 1100-1300ft units (on the property portal of this forum) and for that location that would seem good value. Can't speak of the condition of the condo but the pix are ok. Google Maps seems to show a building site right behind it, but to honest 50% of SG is a perpetual building site...

A 4 month employment pass? I can't say I've heard of that before. What about the 3 non-workers, what kind of passes are they going to get?
