Aust qualified and looking for work in Sing

Post by nance1 » Sat, 14 Apr 2012 6:27 am

I am currently living in Sydney, Australia. I have recently completed my Diploma in children's services and have worked as a room leader in a childcare centre as well as a teacher's aid for 2+ years now. The main reason for my inquiry is to find out whether my Diploma is recognized in Singapore and whether it would allow me to work in a childcare/preschool setting.
Thanks, N.

Maybe you should approach MOE (Ministry of Education) they will be able to advise on what is officially required. The fact is moving over here may be difficult if the skills are already represented by locals.

If you were a teacher I think it would be a different matter.

Cheers for the feedback. I am a teacher- an early childhood educator!
Anyway, I sent MOE an email.
Thanks, N.
