I have job offers here in singapore. One company has applied an epass for me but wishes me to start to work for them in july. The HR just disclosed me about this after applying for pass which I didn’t like ‘cos she said in our previous conversation that i can start this last week of april. Good thing is, I haven’t signed any contract with them yet. And right at this moment, we’re still waiting for the outcome.
Now here’s another company that offers me a job as well that can let me start to work right away after the approval of the pass application, but they haven’t applied me for the pass yet.
My problem is, is it alright to have simultaneous application of e/s pass from different companies? Or shall i still wait for the outcome of the first application?
If in the first company the pass is approved, is it ok not to work for them
‘cos in the first place i haven’t signed any contract with them yet?
However if rejected, would it affect with my next pass application by another company?
Thanks and GOD bless!

You can only apply for/have one pass at a time. If the pass with the first company is approved, they will need to contact MOM to cancel it before the second company can submit an application. If they do submit anyway, it'll be rejected with the reason being you already have a current pass.

if the company cancel it to MOM, will it affect my next pass application?
what if they will tell negative things about me? when in the first place they were the one who were dishonest to me 'cos at first they say that they can hire me this april but later said that it will still be in july...

Will it affect your next pass? Not likely, unless the next company cannot justify to the MOM why they actually need to hire a foreigner. If they can't then you are shafted again. But them's the breaks.

can company A ban me from getting future pass? if i will not continue to work for them?
what if the pass is approved and i ask them to cancel it but they decline to do so (considering that there is NO contract signed by me yet)?

No, company should not be able to adversely affect future applications.
There is actually a recent thread about what someone had to do when his first company wouldn't cancel his pass. I believe it involved writing a letter to MOM. Maybe the second company did. Can't remember. Use the search function and you'll find the thread.

All I did to find this was click "SEARCH" in the upper right quadrant, and type in "MOM CANCEL PASS" and "all of these terms", the click seach.

See I knew you didn't have a masters! Otherwise you wouldn't have been able to do that AND explain it so easily!

crescia,
Please do not post virtually identical postings in multiple threads. Nobody likes reading the same post more than once, let along answering the same post twice. You other post as been deleted AGAIN.
