Why are you getting threats? What kind of threats?

You should contact the police and not an Internet message board.

threats like he's going to kill me when he sees me.
and that he can do it in 5 mins.

i think he's doing that because he cannot accept the fact that his now ex-gf (Filipino) is now my current gf. and the only reason that my gf is with him is because my gf only wants to help him to put his life back by helping him finding a job in singapore and because he doesnt know anyone else in singapore aside from my gf. actually, my gf told me that he has a pending case in france due to his attitude. his last employer file a complain about his attitude.. and im afraid that he will also be a threat to my gf later on if i didnt do anything about it.

So the threat is more on your girlfriend eh? Is your girlfriend in Singapore as well? Ask her to lodge a police report then...

Honestly, dude, you are asking for help in the wrong place. We may try to advise but the local police is able to advise better and assist.

Perhaps restraining order from court?

Why is it going to take so long? 5 minutes? What's he going to do? Scold you to death? Yeah, take it to the police. Heaven forbid, he's French, all you have to do is threaten him back. He's probably got a whole suitcase of white surrender flags in it just in case his French posturing doesn't work.

Oh snap.

But hey, what is he gonna do? Say your father smells of elderberries?Singapore is so strict that people here don't know how to fight and if they do, the police would get 2000+ SGD from them followed by a good rattan whacking.

If he doesn't back down and gets personal, remind him of World War II. :P

I know enough french guys and they don't carry white flags (pun noted .. ;) Maybe he wanted to speak Franglais till our friend went berserk and stabbed himself to death with a fork ??

Well, seriously, I been in similar situation as the OP

my 2 cents says - your GF is mental .. put the french man's life back ? well, is she mother Theresa or Florence Nightingale ?

While there are a lot of good expats (like SMS and the like .. ;) ) there are loads of shitty guys - locals and expats alike, who are busy sweet talking and pouring their hearts out, with, just one motive - take advantage of woman - naive women like your GF..

I have seen it enough times in my years here, including one guy who got a free care taker for his house, when he was abroad -of course the girl didn't just take care of the place but also went around busily fixing stuff only to get thrown out when the guy returned home and said he is selling his place .. and the likes.

In the meantime, when he happened to know that the girl was known to me, hinted that it is wrong for me tread in his patch ..

And another guy who called my then gf and said she was needed for him to get over his personal problems and blah blah .. and was drunk and didn't know how to get home etc. etc. and my then gf was so upset that the guy may kill himself and she ran to rescue him .. and of course, I ran away in the opposite direction and never talked to her anymore .. (that if you are sober enough to speak on the phone, you are sober enough to crawl into a cab and get home - was lost on my then gf .. )

Your GF is DENSE .. and sorry, not to offend anybody, but it is just that some girls are a bit clueless when it comes to drawing the line ..

Case closed ..

PS: if the guy threatened you with murder, it is a SERIOUS OFFENSE .. go talk to Police ..

well the french will remind that they been fighting in "Stan" .. ;)

I still think the guy may scare our friend to death with his franglais .. :)

Ever seen a french man scold ? It is hilarious ..

And .. to the OP : Get off and act now - no more "ONE MORE .. " and I doubt what you will do considering your pity on the guy for his not knowing anybody here .. !!!!!!

What? Why are you giving him another chance? just go tell the police right now! FFS, don't be a bawbag, you want to let him do this to other people?

I hate the French anyway, but I especially hate people who threaten others, I suspect we're only hearing half the story here, but even still, if he threatens you, tell the police, if he's French then he'd likely be deported.

As I said, I suspect there's something you aren't telling us though.

Maybe he is trying to get the Frenchman deported cause his Girlfriend has left him for the Frenchman?

Good luck with that, I never did like the French :P

Guys, OP is being threatened by a man residing in Singapore over love triangle issue. That's it. And we are all advising him to go to the police already.

There is no need to make any hateful remark in direct reference that the offender is French.
