Construction again at HV?

Post by movingtospore » Thu, 05 Apr 2012 7:09 pm

WTF are the tearing everything up again at HV for? They literally just finished the MRT, put in some nice green space, trees, etc. Saw today they are boarding said nice green space up for excavation. :???: I would think after some time here I'd grown accustomed to the never-ended tearing up a road, paving it, tearing it up, paving it,...but seriously!!!

I swear the big construction companies have the SP government suckered into thinking they constantly need to do the same repairs over and over again...

I've been here 30 years. What construction? Are they doing any building in Singapore? I wasn't aware of it. I always though tower cranes and green safety mesh were an inherent part of the landscape.
