1 day trip from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highlands

Hi everyone

I need some advice on a trip I plan to the Cameron Highlands.
Unfortunately, I will only have 1 day starting in Kuala Lumpur so that I need a very convenient and time-saving solution. Beyond that, I'll be travelling alone (female, mid-twenties) and safety is another very imporant aspect for me.

I assume I have 3 options:

1. organized full day trip booked via travel provide, either alone or in a group. Does anyone know a serious provider?

2. private taxi driver to bring me to the CH. Does anyone know a serious driver or company?

3. rental car

I really need your feedback. It would be great if you had a recommendation or some contacts for me as I am a little bit concerned when it comes to safety.

Cameron Highland is much further than Genting as it crosses into the State of Perak. There is no way you can do this trip in 1 day. From KL is about 2 hrs drives to exit of the Highway. from the foot of the Mountain will take you about 1 hr up to the top. This will be on a free traffic day which you rarely got any.
This is absurd. Safety is not an issue. Go to any Hotel Concierge or Travel Agent in KL , they will arrange for you . Even at the airport counter too.
But seriously for One day to go to Cameron and back is pure madness

the schedule is too tight. you could try your luck with the tour agencies. below has some contacts. Maybe they could arrange for a separate trip for you at a higher charge.

it seem too late to give u this info. i used to go kl, penang , ipoh and cameon highland with few friends by booking a transport with a driver(guide ) i'm not sure whether u can get the same driver, they will arrange the schedules and hotels for us with a reasonable price . we went up to cameron highland as a short trip too. actually there's nothing much to shop but just some nice scene and relaxing enviroment for u to stay a night. 2 days 1 night will be enuff.
