Popular online shopping sites (eg like Amazon) in Singapore?

Not sure how Amazon Prime works internationally.

AFAIK, Amazon doesn't ship electronics to Singapore. And Amazon Prime is only applicable to USA and Canada (I think there are more countries but definitely NOT Singapore). Tried that, nope didn't work.

Not sure about Amazon Prime, but also not sure what constitutes electronics either. I just had a Logitech Harmony 650 Infrared Remote Control delivered to me on the 11th of June (last month) purchased on Amazon by Amazon Export Sales LLC. Also bought a Harmony One back in May, 2011 with no issues and battery included.

2. I'm not sure where you get that Amazon doesn't ship electronics to Singapore because I've purchased from "Amazon Export Sales LLC ", last two items being 8TB external hard drive and blue tooth headset. I remember 8tb HD was with free shipping.

I think it's more fair to say not all items for sale on Amazon is available to be shipped to Singapore. Also, many people get around this by using forwarding company (Comgateway, Borderlinx, vPost, etc).

Their black list is kinda weird.
You get some items that you would think it's totally fine to ship but nope, no shipping to Singapore. Then there's those items that would seemingly combust in flight and they actually ship that stuff!
It boggles me

It ships but selectively and generally hard to see a pattern. For me, for example, Amazon is an excellent source of internal Bluray burners, ca 3x cheaper than in SG and shipped free. SDDs ship too. Various instruments, blood pressure meters etc etc. The choice is almost sufficient I would say. The major problem I see, if the thing is heavy (heavier or bulker), then most often no free delivery, but sometimes it still may be worth - I was considering buying from Amazon an AV Receiver, even with ca USD100 shipment cost, still cheaper than in Singapore.

You're right. All my attempts to get certain electronics didn't go through so it is fair to say that not all items (electronics) are available to be shipped to Singapore.
