Hi all,
The last time I visited SG on my Australian passport I received a 90 day visa.
I'm planning to arrive in SG early August and would like to be able to stay for 90 days from then.
However, I will be in SG for a few hours on 12 July due to flying into SG on a budget airline and changing to a different airline to fly out of SG. This means that I'll have to clear immigration on 12 July and will likely be issued with a 90 day visa then.
I think there are two options in relation to my arrival in August:
1. I get 90 days from 12 July, my arrival in August is considered to be part of that 90 days, I have to leave on 12 October.
2. I get a completely new visa with 90 days starting from my arrival in August - I have to leave early November.
I've not been able to find this out online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Before we say anything, how long were you here the last time and when did you leave?

You will get a new 90 day visa on arrival (they might give you 30 until you ask for 90 but it will be no problem). You should get a new 90 visa when you return as well. I don't see any issues here at all.

Hi dax123,
I did almost the same thing over the past few months. Had job interviews which took 2 days and stayed over the weekend (4 days total). I then flew back 2 weeks later with my wife to do our pre-move visit.
They stamped my passport with a new 90 day visa without a blink. Stamped on the same page as my prior SG ones.
Australian Passport as well.
