Recommended condos near Orchard Rd?

We are hoping to put our kids in the Overseas Family School. We would like to be max 15 minutes drive from the school.
Where would we stay? House or condo? We hope to be there by July coming from South Africa. We have 3 kids.

There are a ton of condos for most price ranges around Orchard, the cheapest around $5K a month up to $20+K a month, something like Aston Heights would be close enough and on the cheaper end but have lovely facilities. Really, being 15 minutes drive from the school doesn't cut it down much.

I think you really need to find a realtor to find you something or hunt around on this site and other singapore property sites for something.

Houses around the area you are talking about are ASTRONOMICAL prices, but if you are totally loaded or have infinite money then you may want to consider something round there. condo or apartments are cheaper but still expensive (as is everywhere in Singapore)

Is it just the school you need to be close it?

If the price is acceptable then I'd look for something on Paterson Road (not the part that leads to the school, but the little strip next to Paterson Hill), that way you wouldn't even need to drive.

I heard that OFS was moving...........but it's probably not for a few years.

There are loads of condos around there - look on the site here and you'll see. Leonie Gardens, Horizon Tower etc. Click on the map section, you should be able to find some within walking distance. Prices vary - they can be very expensive. I know a few people who live in old apartments around orchard with no facilities and they're quite cheap.
