Help needed for accommodation

Post by Lotus water » Tue, 20 Mar 2012 11:04 pm

Hi guys,

Do you guys happened to come by any condominium project that provide private lift access and there is no security in the project? There will just be a security gate where I use remote access to enter the condo.

Please let me know if there is any of such project as I am looking for one.

Appreciate if anyone can help!

Thanks guys!

One of those online brothels that keep getting busted in condos I'm guessing :P I'd link to the story, but it'll be blocked by the forum. Just google "singapore online vice condo"

Hi Guys,

I have got a bad experience with the security. I am a retiree currently staying in one such condo that has got no security and private lift. I do not have neighbours. But the sad thing is that the owner is taking back the place soon so I have to find another place to shift to. I love the place that i stayed in for almost 2years. I want to enjoy the same privacy that I currently enjoyed. If you guys come by any of such apartment please let me know.

Thanks

So far I only know of one condo with such private lifts - Cuscaden Residences. But I have no recollection of security gate part like you described. Give it a look?

Completely with no security I guess that would not be a condo but if you just need a private lift and a side, card accessed gate there should be some around. I only know 2 in the West area: Palm Gardens in CCK and if I am not mistaken for the side gate, Mayfair close to Chinese Gardens. Why do you need a private lift?

x92, correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't it common for most condos to have side card-accessed gates?

I am actually curious about OP's question as i never heard of unmanned security gate using remote control in condos.

OP, mind to share which condo were you staying previously?

I would say so. Private lift is far less common but if one wants to enter without talking to security you just need the access card to the side gate. Oh, another condo with private lifts is Tribeca but it is rather land-compact so not sure about the side gate.
Weird. I am not convinced at all by the whole story.

It makes perfect sense for someone who wants to run a business with a lot of foot traffic that wishes to remain discreet. And where better to anonymously ask about more obscure condo features that wouldn't normally be published than an expat forum?

I wasn't joking in my first reply in this thread.

St Thomas Suites has private lifts, you may want to look at that!? But they have security guards.

What was your bad experience with your security guards previously? Scaring away your punters izzit?

Why not just rent a house?

More room for the punters too...

+1! although, you won't have a jacuzzi, which may be an issue, you could put one in and put in your own security gate etc.

I guess OP won't be coming back to elaborate further on his story/requirement.

I would really like to know which housing actually provides vehicle-accessible remote-controlled unmanned security gate with private lifts to individual units, especially the one he stayed in.

Hi guys,

I have a dog a huge dog. I hate to have the security always restricting my dog to move here and there especially near the pool area. Although they are pets but I think they should also given the freedom to move in place they like as I don't leash my dog. That the reasons I do not want security guards! Im staying in one at near novena mrt. I drive so I will just use my remote to open the barrier to enter the condo. That is actually my place now! I'm probably thinking of cluster house or townhouse projects that offends same facilities as my current where no security and private lift so if there are any to recommend please let me know! I prefer to be in town area!

Thanks.
