There is a company who applied the employment pass for me and they gave me the Transaction no provided by the singpost.

You will have to get the FIN number from the employer. Why didn't they apply for the pass online? Kind of stupid if you ask me. If it's a new company, don't hold your breath waiting for approval though as the odds are highly against it. Of course, stranger things have happened, but I wouldn't quit you current job just yet.

Well they have some reason that's why they applied it through by post. FIN is issued once they respond to the application but now the application is in process how to know the status.

You can't. That's why it's stupid to try to do it by post. In fact, I'd be afraid to go to work for a company in Singapore that didn't have internet access and an account with MOM. I'd be afraid of a kickback scam or not even getting paid.

I'm in a similar situation to the OP. My company is based in the UK and opened a Singapore office a while back. Last year they decided to abandon APAC operations, so have no staff out there, but the company is still registered and maintained. They've kindly let me work out in SG for them, but having no HR or staff over there means the UK HR staff will have to apply for my EP via SingPost as they cannot have a SingPass.

I hope it doesn't ruin my chances :(

Have you thought of the possibility of extending your SVP?

Staying here more means more expenses, I've 10 months SVP for Malaysia each entry for 14 days. Thinking to stay there until the employment pass results came out...
