I meant to write "Mandarin instruction at UWC"

Will be moving to Singapore from New York in the summer and would like my children (11, 5, 3) to learn Mandarin. I have read the archives and note that Stamford has a great Mandarin program (five days a week for Grades 1 and up) but in terms of a school I like the look of UWC better. Does anyone know what the Mandarin instruction at UWC is like--on par with Stamford? Are there better places for a family coming from USA?

Also, do many American students go to UWC? My children do not necessarily have to go to an American school--would like as great a mix of nationalities as possible--but do want strong Mandarin instruction and also a place that at least synchs with the American education system.
