since Robertson walk is a wee bit away from Raffles, maybe the OP can also look for Down Under Bar.

Just Google for "down under pub Singapore" :)

Prince of Wales at Boat Quay. BQ Bar ... the list is endless (did you bother to take a walk and just ask?)

You are kidding right ? How far is One Raffles Quay from UOB Towers ? And guess what's next to the UOB towers ?

Well, you can take the underground route from One Raffles to Exit by UOB tower and you are in Boat Quay

Oh, you can call a cab though if you find it too far .. :)

My previous response stands. Get out on those 2 long things sticking out beneath your body and go take a look see for yourself.

There are a few bars very close to ORQ - Harry's, Bank, Molly Roffey's, and a load of places near One Fullerton. They serve Aussie beers in most of them.

Why does it need to be an Aussie bar - sport?

Well, if you see the Aussie Sheilas, at Down Under, I am not interested .. not that it matters ... the men folk are Oz, and the women folk are a fair share of OZ Ladies + natives Sheilas / wanna be Sheilas ..

Oh, if you need Aussie beer, the bar at the Orchard hotel, basement, Roo bar ? they do serve Aussie Beer VB and the lot ..

me ? oh, Too early for the smokes, but, we drifted away from Raffles Place a while ago ..

oh, wait, OP wanted Raffles QUAY or more specifically, near 1 Raffles quay, and was not happy to even use the Bus 11 to Boat Quay

So how ?

PS:Op wants Raffles Quay, Raffles Quay, not Raffles Place - if he could walk to Raffles Place, he would have no qualms finding out that Boat Quay is actually sitting next to Raffles Place :)

You could argue raffles place is technically one raffles quay as it is linked by the MRT subway. They are all in the same vicinity.

Orchard, on the other hand, is nowhere near!

Someone must have slipped something in your castlemaine!
