I have a four year old and a six year old at SAIS. We love it. The teachers have been great, very responsive, great parent community, small school feel still, and the amount my kids have learned blows me away. When my four year old started in September, she couldn't write a single letter. The teacher helped her with her dexterity, and now just yesterday she independently unsupervised at home wrote a card for me that said, "I love mom." It was written and spelled correctly. I couldn't believe it. My six year old went from 80 sight words learned in Kindergarten in the states to almost finishing the grade 1 readers and it is only February. The foreign language program is amazing, I can't believe what they have learned in such a short amount of time.
This is my six year old, singing in Mandarin. Prior to September she had never even heard anyone speak the language.

You can hear the four year old singing in the background.
We, as a family, are very happy with the choice, it was the right one for our kids. My six year old thanked me a couple of weeks ago out of the blue for choosing the best school for her in the whole world. Her words not mine. She has been to five so far in her short life, so she is not without comparison.
