Dyson
Sounds about right, I once needed a part and went there to get it. Can't remember the reason now, but I was unable to make payment at that point in time, and the lovely gentleman said I could just take it first, and make payment another time.
Item value was about $70 I think. It took me 7 months to get round to doing it!
Wonder if he's still there.

Why does every local assume that they can buy things and resell them for more? I don't get that. Generally old things depreciate... I think gahmen's lessons about people monetizing their HDBs has been interpreted the wrong way

Hang on, you actuall want to sell it for $300 more than retail? I thought that was a typo! lol, good luck with that!zzm9980 wrote:madaboutplastic wrote:ive had a dyson for a present. cost over 700 sgd and is sitting in the house like an eyesore. i dont like it.. i hate it.. and am hoping to sell it for 1000sgd on ebay

Judging by experience on places like hardwarezone's marketplace, I assume he was marking it up. You know, like the guys selling iPhone 4s for $200 more when Singtel has plenty of stocknutnut wrote:Hang on, you actuall want to sell it for $300 more than retail?
