Can you help to advise my friend's problem?
She entered singapore on 1st Feb and she got 30 days, then this Monday,she applied extension for 30days.
But her extension is rejected.
At the time she filled the address in white card -she wrote wrongly the last digit of postal code .(i.e. 1** ** 8)
Then, at the time of applying extension, she keyed in the correct postal code
(i.e 1** **2). 2 is the correct one.
she applied with correct postal code with same address as white card address.
But, now, her extension is rejected ans so she thought that the reason is beacuse of the postal code .
This time is her second time she entered singapore.
First time is Aug 2011 and she left end of september.At that time, she applied extension after 3 weeks stay, she was rejected because of passport name is not same as the one in online submission.she really did mistake. Then she went down with her PR sponsor to request personally. she got extension of 1month.
Now, this time is also rejected.
And this time also, can she get extension if she go to ICA?
I thought that the duration is only 4months and so short time to enter again ,then ICA don't want to extend her stay.
So, Can I know the reason ; because of postal code mistake or becaue of short duration to enter again?
