EPOL Account request taking awefully long

Hi,

I am the chief representative of a recently approved Rep Office in Singapore. A well established relocation agency filed an EPOL request for me on Friday, 10 Feb 2012. The agency will be acting as account administrator in order to apply for the actual EP for me. I am currently in Singapore on STVP. Now MOM states that requests will be handled within 7 working days. I have been following up with the agency on the process because I have still not received the letter with the one time pin to activate the account. The agency has been calling MOM several times during the last few days and has been escalating the case at the hotline, stating it is very urgent. The hotline officer tells her he will forward it to the processing office and they have not yet gotten back to her.

Any idea on what might be the issue?

Cheers, Ronald

PS.: I should clarify. Its not about the actual EP application yet. We're applying for an EP online account which then shall be used to apply for the actual visa.

Something in your history or profile MOM doesn't like?

I wouldn't know what. Never had any problems travelling, no criminal record, been visiting Singapore twice a year for the last two years. I'm just clueless as to why there hasn't been any info whatsoever and why its taking longer than it should.

how long?

hi there

i'm observing same thing: process has exceeded the stated 7 working days (ok, not by much, but still unusual for SG)

on phone with MOM yielding no answers.

can i ask if you got the EPOL access in the end, and how long it took??
