sending dried seafood to Singapore by post

Post by makubexho » Mon, 20 Feb 2012 6:02 pm

hi everyone,

i am looking for some advice on sending dried (processed) seafood products for personal use to Singapore. I have 2 packs of instant abalones, the type that can be eaten without cooking, and 2 boxes of dried sea cucumbers that cost about AUD $350 in total. i want to send these stuff by post to my friend in Singapore as gift. Does anybody have similar experience of sending seafood from other country to Singapore, or Does any Singaporean know if the customs in Singapore is going to charge duty & taxes & GST on the aforementioned value of the goods? by the way, i've lost the invoice of these stuff right after purchasing, do you foresee a problem with this?

thanks
