Can anyone recommend a place where I can safely get my daughters ears pierced (she is 11) with gold studs? I have tried private health clinics and various jewellers without success!

You can try the jewellery shops that sell white/yellow gold. Just make sure they sterilize the equipment first.

If you do not mind, there is another hip shop called "77th Street". They do ear piercing too. But the staff there are rather young. As such, I prefer the above mentioned jewelry shops.

Hi i would like to know what do you mean by "without success" normally, jewellers would do ears piercing.

have you thought about looking in to tattoo parlors? they usually have a very high standard of cleanliness and give better piercings than other places (at least in my experiences!)

What do you mean without success? Your daughters ended up with many undesirable ear piercings after few 'attempted' visits?

Actually the jewellers are already good options to go to, especially if you want gold studs pierced in. They have acceptable hygienic practice in ear piercing, getting sterilised and all that.
