My 2.5 year old son has just started at a new Montessori school called The House on the Hill, just up the hill from Dhoby Ghaut on Mount Sophia. The location as the crow flies is fab - right next to Plaza Singapura but you do have to go down about 100 steps to get there! It has only just opened so the teacher:pupil ratio is fantastic. The only downside is that I would like a few more kids there for my little man to play with. I know they have an open day coming up on 11th Feb but don't know how well they seem to be advertising, nor how far they are stretching their net. It would be particularly great if there were a few more kids aged 2.5 and up as his class is pretty small. I spoke to the principal and she said it is harder to get kids in at that age because most are ALREADY at school (I am and Aussie so find this very hard to comprehend!)
