Job Contract Termination

Post by bbabymilo » Mon, 30 Jan 2012 11:39 pm

Hi

I would like to ask:
I am 20 years old this year and I have signed a contract with a part time job recruiting agency company. I hope to terminate my contact with them. Do I have to pay the termination fee? Since I am below the age of 21, still a minor.

Kindest regards

Yep, you signed a valid contract, you are bound by the terms of the contract. If you are not underage to work, then you are bound by the contract and any and all laws under the Employment Act will pertain to both you AND the employer/agency.

Screw around with them and you will get a bad reputation that may follow you around for a long, long time.
