Firstly u need to know the location of your office so that you are able to search for a place nearby. I do know that Singapore is a small island but living nearby will also cut the costs of travelling.

Hello IamonNet,
I am planning to move in Mid March but it depends on when my employer send me the professional pass(IPA). Did you already have the visa in your hand? I understand from previous posts that getting a professional pass takes 2-3 weeks only.(?)
Can you send me PM with your contact details
BTW I will be living near to Jurong Island Highway and am looking to be in touch with Indians moving to Singapore.
Thanks,

Anywhere from 2 days to 2 months generally.

There are a lot of Indians in Singapore.

Hi Friends,
Now I have got IPA in my hand but it has rather confused me a bit
It says at one place that this IPA consists of a single journey visa and at another place it says that IPA entitles me to start working in Singapore provided I have a long/short term visit visa
Kindly any body of you please clarify if I need to have any other document as well to enter Singapore other than this IPA and my passport.
Many thanks..

The IPA is your visa to get in. You'll get a multiple entry visa with your EP. You don't need anything else. Don't lose your IPA and you're fine.
