There's no way ACTA is going to be unilaterally accepted by parliaments across the EU.

Whereas most of it makes sense and is necessary, the parts concerning the internet must have been written by complete nut jobs.

Obama plans to ratify it in the US by executive order, too. Not sure how that works.

i really don't like acta. it is almost through and could seriously restrict some parts of the free internet!

Like I said, it won't get passed across Europe. They're already saying it would breach the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union which was adoped in full by all but three member states.

Plus it's so unpopular there's no way anyway to get it passed in all parliaments across the continent.
