The Paris Opera Ballet will be performing at the Esplanade on 19 – 21 Jan 2012 and the company is looking for male extras who can appear in the performance. They are looking for the following to audition for the parts of –
- 6 tall men (at least 1.80 meter) acting as guards + 1 substitute
- 4 smaller men (1.70 – 1.75 meter) acting as footmen + 1 substitute
There is no specific skill required except the fact that the guards should be able to walk on cue to music. The most important thing is the height and their commitment to be present for all the events of the schedule.
Their preliminary schedule would be as following :
Tuesday 17th Jan
1030am : casting + costume fitting
Wednesday 18th Jan
12pm - 1pm : rehearsal in studio
1.30pm - 5.30pm : rehearsal with company on stage with piano 20h : rehearsal with company on stage with orchestra
Thursday 19th Jan
1.30pm - 4.30pm : rehearsal with company on stage with piano
8pm : first performance
Friday 20th Jan
8pm : second performance
Saturday 21st Jan
3pm : third performance
8pm : fourth performance.
We will not be able to provide a fee but believe that this will be a valuable and memorable experience to appear alongside the Paris Opera Ballet
