LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE

Hey everyone, i arrived in Singapore on Friday and i am currently living in temp accommodation.

My name is Ketan, from uk, 24 years old and i am looking for a room to share with other expats, locals, students, or whoever will have me :D

Also look at singapore.gumtree.com - there are a few flat shares on there too!

Which area are you looking to stay at ? also, whats your budget ?

i would be looking at staying around, Buona vista, dover, clementi, commonwealth, queenstown, holland, redhill. As its closer to my work location.

Budget of around S$1000/month.

With that budget, you can easily afford a single room for yourself in a HDB at all these areas mentioned above.

Unless you're looking for a condo... Is that what you're looking for?

well HDB/Landed apt/condo..it doesnt matter. the key thing is what you said...'single room' i dont want to live alone, it can be pretty boring, i would like to share with others for the social side of things.

Single room as in one room in a flat! You DEFINITELY won't get a property for $1000 in any shape or form alone in Singapore, don't worry ;) :P :P

Hmm if you use the search feature up there, you will find posts of fellow expats looking for people to rent an entire condo or HDB together. You may wanna try there. Good luck.
