Product engineer's prospect in Singapore

I'm about to sign in as a product engineer in a semiconductor/flash storage company, but I'm getting cold feet about it. I'm current a software engineer at a local company and felt that it's time to jump ship to a more wider scope job.

This might be quite generic question, but I want to see whether is there any prospect in Singapore. Thanks

Singapore has plenty of Semiconductor opportunities.

Yes, there are several semiconductor companies, but the industry isn't growing any more, but moving elsewhere.

Some Manufacturing might be moving elsewhere, however if the OP is product design then they only need to be where the data is generated, and some of the Semiconductor Companies are consoladating their data operations here regardless of where the manufacturing sites are.

They shouldn't have any problems finding work in my opinion.
