Hi all, just wondering if anyone lives or knows somebody who lives/lived at Carribbean at Keppel Bay? We are a family of 3 with one 22 month old and are looking to rent a 2b unit there for around $5.5K as it looked nice and close to shops (vivo city), transport and lots of things for kids to do as we won't have a car.
Would love to hear any pros or cons about this
condo?
Thanks

It is brilliant. Lots of space for little ones to run around, lots of pools (child-friendly too), playgrounds, lots of space on Keppel Island to run around with scooters etc. The apartments themselves aren't huge, but the surroundings make up for it. And lots and lots of other little people to play with! Everything is within easy reach. MRT next door and busses right outside. Sentosa being close is a huge bonus too. My little ones (2 and 4) love it there. Can only recommend it.

It's a nice
condo if living space is not an issue for you. We looked at these when we arrived 3.5 years ago and personally I thought they were overpriced for what you got.
I love the outside space and the fact it's close to Sentosa, Vivo & MRT but for $5.5k you could get a 3/4 bed place on the East Coast with a lot more living space and the same facilities and amenities.
You may get cabin fever before your 2 year lease is up and may wish you went for a bigger place so may be worth seeing if you can get more bang for your buck.

I live here and I agree with everything snowqueen said. If it weren't paid for by my husband's company we would definitely spend our money elsewhere. More space for $5.5k would definitely be a plus, especially depending on the layout of the unit you get. For some of the two bed units the layout is so poor no amount of arranging and rearranging the furniture will make it feel less than cramped. It's nice but not worth the price, unless you're attached to the location.

Gorgeous place, neatly tucked away in Sentosa. Only problem is it won't be as convenient to get to places in central Singapore. Orchard Road for instance or Holland Village. Might be a problem getting to these places during peak hour.

Caribbean at Keppel Bay is on Telok Blangah Rd, not at Sentosa. It takes about 10-12 minutes by cab to get to Orchard.

And it is still accessible to HV thanks to Circle Line...

Thanks so much for everyone's posts and thoughts - I really appreciate them all. Sorry I haven't been online for a while - been frantic trying to get everything ready (house ready for renting/packing etc/catching up for goodbyes with everyone) as we're just about to leave. Will let you know how we go once we settle in and find a place - wish me luck! lol
