Bayshore Park is (by far) the older of the two developments. And it shows. But not in the way you'd think.

The Bayshore is relatively new and the apartment finishes are 'grander' but the land area surrounding the blocks is much smaller.

Bayshore Park (BP) benefits from a vast compound with plenty of spaces between the blocks. There are two swimming pools, seven tennis courts, two cafes, a mini-supermarket, launderette and even a hair dresser. The apartments themselves are more than 25 years old so many can be pretty run down. They all have fairly good balconies though. I lived at BP myself and really liked it.

If you can find a well maintained apartment at BP I would choose it over The Bayshore anytime. The views at BP will be better too.

Costa Del Sol is the best condo on Bayshore Road. Newest of the three, best views (every unit faces the sea, but need to be above 8th floor to see over trees) and best amenities. It has a mini-mart, medical clinic, cleaners, and dvd rental on-site along with the 50m lap pool, 4m diving pool (only one in a condo in Singapore, from what I understand), 3 tennis courts, restaurant, free form pool, kids pool, and gym. It also has direct, secure underground access to East Coast Park. It is the first stop (guaranteed seat) in the a.m. for the 541 Bus Plus to the city for $5.
