BBC: 'Meet Britain's tiger-mums'

Post by JR8 » Sat, 07 Jan 2012 4:16 am

This was a programme that I enjoyed watching, and a topic we have discussed before. Although somewhat predictably scripted as rather 'us and them', it still had many insightful and revealing moments for me.

You need access to a UK ip address to watch it on the BBC iPlayer though (also discussed as a 'how to' before!). Plus iPlayer links time-out, so after a couple or weeks...

'Documentary. Three British-based Chinese 'Tiger Mothers' enforce a strict regime of extra homework, music practice and discipline to push their children to academic excellence.'

I've been PM'd a link to an Mpeg4 version of this programme, that presumably won't require a UK ip address, or time out.

(I haven't tested it, as I've already watched the prog via the iPlayer).
