Recommendations for Scuba diving beggi / certificate course

Hello divers - looking for some recommendations / advice

I'm interested in getting scuba beginners certifcate toward end of Mar / April?

Any recommendations for scuba schools / locations in singapore? or even Thailand or Malaysia? happy to fly

My Husband did his course last year at at Sea Gypsy resport, Sibu malaysia, its 3 hours trip by bus/boat/bus to get there from Singapore, very friendly expat Dive master and staff.
