One important point to keep in mind - you may (or may not) meet the requirements to apply for a a PEP, but that is not the same as saying you qualify for one. I mention this because some folks have unrealistic expectations and then get upset if they are rejected. It's entirely up to the authorities, and if you do search around this site you will see that the chances of securing PEPs, EPs and PR have all drastically reduced over the past year or two.
Just want to ensure that your expectations are at the right level.
