Any info on University jobs for History and/or ESL?

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask for any information available regarding jobs as University Lecturer/Assistant Professor.

Any expat websites on teaching in Singapore cram schools or Universities?

In case it might help, I should add that my case might be a bit strange: I am 45 years old, have a Ph.D. in History from a UK University, have taught mostly ESL (but without an ESL qualification) in Taiwan, and, for what it's worth, a few publications (not earth-shaking though).

The part that might be difficult, depending on what the law in Singapore might require, is that my native tongue is officially Greek (due to Greek poassport), not English, although English is actually my native tongue since I have lived most of my life in the USA and UK (and ten years in Taiwan teaching English in Colleges).

Sorry about the length of the post. Also, as a newbie here, I am not sure if I am posting this where I should not be, so thanks in advance for your understanding.

There is NO job market for ESL teachers without proper qualifications.
If you expect things to be similar to Taiwan/Korea/Thailand/etc. in this respect, stay where you are!
In most other fields, there are lecturer positions available for people with a Ph.D. and/or relevant experience (which must be outstanding if without a Ph.D.).
Check the university and MoE websites for further information!
