How much SGD is required as down payment to buy an exe- HDB

Would like to hear some numbers !!

I gather it would be 20 % of the total price + COV + agent

Anything that I missed out ? Would 200k sufficient to buy/repair/ furnish ?

You forgot the new ruling of 10% tax (Sorry, 'Stamp Duty') on all property purchases, assuming you are a Foreigner of course.

I assume you meet the requirement of purchase a resale HDB unit.

cash require
20 % of the total price
COV
agent
stamp duty
property tax
PUB deposit.
renovation
furniture.

as for whether 200k is it enough. That very much depend how much is your COV. How intensive you want to do your reno. What type furniture you plan to purchase.

Some will purchase a 1k+ 42" LED TV. Some will spend $10k for a 60" TV.
