Obviously this is a very subjective subject. Different strokes for different folks an all that, but you could start here:

Depends on what you wanna do.

I'm Indonesian so I go to Bali all the time. What do you want to do there? Relaxing/partying/water sports? Do you want to stay in a quieter place or the center of the happening places?

My favorite place to stay in Bali is Seminyak area. It's not as crowded as the neighboring Kuta and Legian (the most touristy and crowded places in Bali and the beaches are not so good), but the beach is better. White stretch of sandy beaches and all the fun bars and beach clubs to hang out at (my favorite is Potato Head beach club -- awesome music and drinks). If you want something more secluded, choose a private villa or resorts a round Jimbaran to Uluwatu area.

Bali is really pretty. I bet you'll have a lot of fun. Make sure you try the 'deadly' jungle juice! :)

We were thinking abt partying, shopping, chilling by the beaches....The missus has already booked the flights n accomdation. So we cant change that. We will be there for 4 days 3 nights....will that be enough time to have a good time in Bali?
