Notification of Outcome - Singapore Citizenship

As above, I applied for Singapore citizenship in July and was wondering what the standard method of delivery is when it comes to giving a response.

Is one generally notified via snail mail or through the online portal?

My status still says pending so was hoping someone here would know how they usually send out decisions.

Many Thanks in advance

You can also get a copy of the notificiation on the govt portal - singpass (check out the ica website for more details). This is just a copy of the letter that was mailed.

Thanks a lot! Also, does the status on the online status check portal also change once the letter has been mailed? Because im out of town so no way of checking snail mail just yet.

So was wondering if the status changes from pending to something else once the decision has been made and a letter has been mailed out. Thanks!

:o :o

OP ;
Here is the reply from the EYE SEE YEY
"No worries, buddy
We have gone thru your papers and everything is falling apart, in fact it is in a mess. !!!
What kind of shitty paper did you use for application?
How in the world am I able to approve your application if I can't read?
The only thing I can change your status is from pending to SHITTY.
Who told you to use toilet papers for your application? "

It will come when it is supposed to come. If does not come , it will never come. Coz no one knows if it is coming or not !!
I refrain from commenting till now but I cannot resist just to poke abit.

Ah come on .. not like that lah ..

It is something more like "TOO BAD BUDDY, YOU APPLICATION IS NOT SUCCESSFUL TODAY, MAYBE TOMORROW YOU CAN CHECK AGAIN TO SEE IF WE CHANGED OUR MIND" :D

Nah, well, MS- you sort of summed it ..

Well, some people want to know the if the child must do NS, even before having started the preparation of 'conception' .. that is planning 18 years plus plus in advance .. I don't fault them for being overtly cautious ..

And that's a nice way to start a Friday

let me put it this way ..

It is funny when a question where the answer is obvious is asked .. :) :)

What else would you have expected at the ICA site ? Or did you expect somebody to screen scrape and post the actual change of status ??

For a few case I know, including my co-tenant, the status changed to rejected, on the day she logged in to check when she got the letter, and so was it for another couple of friends, and I know it, because I saw it :)

SMS: yah, I was in a flippant mood .. as OP was asking the same question again :( sorry ... the flu is getting into my brain I guess

(Oh, I did find out that I had one brain .. .. )
