Road Trip - Singapore to Cameron Highlands.

Hi, I am thinking about hiring a car and driving from Singapore to Cameron Higlands going via Mellaca. Has any one else done this trip before who could recommend a good route, places to stay, things to see along the way and also the driving time ?

Any advice would be great. Oh and I am planning to do this in Dec, is that an ok time to go ?

Well it is tourist season in December. Depending whether you like crowds or not......

Expected time spent on travelling: 3 hours SG-MC + 2 hours MC-CH (assuming you obey by 110km/h speed limit)
