Moving from the US to Singapore

Post by bnkenz » Fri, 02 Dec 2011 12:41 am

Hi,

I'm moving from Texas (US) to Singapore in a couple of months and need some advice on where to live? I'm 28 year old young business professional male.

Places to live?
Places to hang out/meet similar expats?
Advice on banks and grocery stores?
Anything else you might think is helpful to know.

Thanks!

Ryan

This is one of those perennial topics that comes up like clockwork every few months/weeks. Use the search engine and you may find some specific answers, but in the meantime keep in mind ~

Singapore is very, very small and without knowing your budget and where you will be working, there's no way to guide you on suitable residential areas.

You'll figure it out, you need to zoom your lens in a bit. Substantive advice is hard to apply to a macro view.
