Funny you should say that to me ..
Shows how lonely you are at your work place .. .. and when somebody has a 'NICE" conversation and has another point of view, you take it as a Pro-Indian view ..

I am done with your 'lonely hearts' coloumn ..
have fun ..

if you call Indians as such, let me tell you - they are TAME compared to some others .. no, not gonna go into racial profiling, as maybe, my line of work has brought me together with different races .. I worked with some people, non-Indian, who don't play politics, but eat, breathe, talk, and walk politics, and defend their little 'kingdoms' from anybody other than their own even if that means sacrificing their own kind, to get rid of outsiders, by calling the juniors of their own race - collateral damage ??? - as inefficient and worthless, so the managers of such juniors - from 'other' races / outsiders, get thrown out .. .. so ?? and they were merciless freaks .. and even office lunch / dinners become little battlefields so that their 'domain' is protected .. .. so ??

Ah, if you are referring to this post of mine ....
>> Somebody said that bullshit can take you to the top, but cannot sustain you there .. so if somebody is still pulling strings in the top, there is more to it that "INDIAN POLITICS" Smile Oh, well, that wise man could be wrong .. <<<
I was merely Asking if the "Indians" you loathe are just full of bullshit, they wouldn't be still sitting up there and drawing top dollars .. ah ... never mind ..
And .. please .. Enjoy your cup .. don't let it get cold ..

Take anything written by Johann 'ex-darling of the left' Hari with a sand dune sized pinch of salt...
'Johann Eduard Hari (born 21 January 1979) is an award winning British journalist who was a columnist at The Independent and The Huffington Post, and contributed to several other publications. In 2011, Hari was accused of plagiarism and eventually admitted to it. He was suspended from The Independent and surrendered his 2008 Orwell Prize. He also admitted to making Wikipedia edits, under a pseudonym, to attack his critics, and has said that he plans to undergo training in journalism ethics.'

While it is true that he stole some of his content .. the truth is, he is not far off the reality .. anyway, I was using it to tell our 'big brother' here about Indians in ME, when he apparently thinks they are the missing breed in ME.
Oh, well, I didn't make this up, but an air charter operator was mentioning that some of the safest and reliable airlines in Sharjah, and Africa are managed by Indians .. something worked right I guess, or our friend here will still call them as "washouts"
Oh, well, our friend's boss couldn't be the boss from hell. After all, he is allowed to post in forums like this, during office hour (ah, well, my boss doesn't bother much too, as long as we don't have tasks in our "in" tray and are not eating snake .. ... )
ecureilx wrote:While it is true that he stole some of his content .. the truth is, he is not far off the reality
Stole some of the content? Throughout his career he basically made up a lot of what he wrote.
Or put it another way, he chose a subject and imagined how to pitch it as the salon liberals perfect wet-dream. He then backfilled it with stolen interview quotes and content, and passed it all of as his own work.
That's why he was the darling of the left, he wrote the stuff that other (honest) liberal journalists could only dream of. That's also why it took so long for the Independent for whom he was a columnist to take any action against him, neither they nor the readers wanted to accept that their prophet was a fake one. Ditto the HuffPo and Orwell Prize committee.

And get your message across right before blabbering on like some demented fool. yr article talks about ppl thinking that dubai's heaven. look at the article and tell me which migrant from anywhere going to rich countries will face any kind of harrowing experience. and talk about ppl who claim they have great businesses back home but threw it all away for dubai.
it's a fact that indians don't get the top jobs in dubai. do you have an article to back this up? it's only in singa-bloodypore that this happens coz of the great kow-tow to the investors. why do i always hear from another indian who brags about being an aussie or brit born and bred but 'i am an expat in singapore' and then applies for pr, leaves a coupla years later and withdraws their savings along with it. gimme a break. them indians whether they are brit or aussie born and bred just can not get a job in the country from where they proudly wave their passports in the air!

Ah, you were quoting a friend? Your natural superiority complex has got to be taking a beating working for an FT, and an Indian no less. OMG!
Still, your style of writing reveals your tender age so no doubt you'll learn that you've got no choice but to suck it up.
Enjoy!
