SWFs Singapore

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can give me an idea what the salaries are like for the SWFs in Singapore (GIC/Temasek). Are they above typical market rates of other investment institutions or asset managers in Singapore or the same? Do they typically include the whole accommodation, school fees, medical/dental cover type package?

I recently visited Singapore and loved it, and I am wondering whether it might be an option for the future as I am currently working at one of the large Middle Eastern SWFs. However, after my trip I realise Singapore is super expensive and if the salaries tend to be tight it is unlikely they will beat what I am on and I will just scrap the idea.

Any insight will be great.

Oh, Sovereign Wealth funds ah ..

Well, from the little bit of guys I know in investment banking, it all seems to be how much you can demand .. if you are into investment banking ..

oh, forget getting into Temasek / GIC .. they don't 'let you in' so fast ... of course, if you gonna get in, they must be after you. .. not the other way around .. from what I know ..
