Wholesale Coffee Beans / Importer

Post by Travailes » Wed, 23 Nov 2011 11:32 pm

Just a heads up to say I discovered this amazing stall at the Victoria Street Wholesale Market (opp Bugis St Market) which sells fresh coffee beans. They roast and grind them there as well so you can imagine the aroma is amazing. I paid $20 a kilo of the finest Columbian but most a lot cheaper than that. They sell tea as well. Most supermarkets retail at $10 for 250 g.

Good to know thanks. I've been drinking some nasty stuff since I got here so may go and check out that place.

Seeing as this old thread has been resurrected (?) just to say that this place has relocated to Geylang seeing as Victoria Wholesale Market is just a fading memory ! Still awesome coffee !

In Asia, Vietnamese coffee is also a good choice. The aroma is wonderful. However, it's not been sold in Singapore thought..

Yes they are available in Singapore, mainly served in Trung Nguyen cafes in Orchard and other parts of CBD, or some pricey Vietnamese restaurants.
