cis or ofs

Post by sampat » Wed, 16 Nov 2011 6:41 pm

hello.
We are a family relocating from the uk in january.kids 6 and 9.
We have places at ofs and cis(lakeside).
Please can anyone help me make a decision which one is best.

The size of both is daunting. Both my kids are well-adjusted and bright, but come from small schools in surrey.
I would like a good standard of education, but more so i want happy kids.
Help needed please![/b]

My children are at CIS. There are things I like about the school, things I don't like, but overall it's been a good experience. On the negative side, I think they need more consistency academically. A lot of people enroll at CIS in the early years and then move on to either UWC, Tanglin or the American school as they get older, largely because of a perceived academic weakness in the upper grades.

On the plus side it is a very friendly and open school, and very international.

The new campus is not entirely finished by the way - a lot of facilities won't be done until next year.

Don't know anything about OFS. Good luck.
